My name is Taz Johar, I’m platform change manager and I work in the chief digital and technology office area.
So I joined NHBC back in September 2006 and started working in the services function, moved into technical operations.
Further opportunities arose and I then moved across into IT which was actually to do with my higher education and from there just worked in multiple areas delivering different projects work with different areas of NHBC
NHBC has supported my career in a number of different ways. I think I’ve always been supported by colleagues and managers that I’ve worked for and I’ve had lots of opportunity to grow my career and personally develop as well.
I've been in my current role for just under a year. I think the thing I enjoy most really is I get to work with lots of different people across the business and so you know my role is very day-to-day.
For me being part of the race equality network and being chair really gives me the opportunity to help make NHBC a more inclusive employer.
My final thoughts, I’ve found NHBC a great place to work.
Including the benefits our staff have access to, our commitment to diversity & inclusion and our values
