Buildmark policy document
If you know your policy number, you can download your Buildmark policy booklet here to check the specific cover for your home.
If you don't know your policy number, please email ccsupport@nhbc.co.uk quoting your name, address and postcode to request a copy.

Checking and activating Buildmark cover on a new home
If the builder has given you a policy number and activation code, you can check the home has Buildmark cover before exchange of contracts here.

Buildmark insurance certificate
If you need a copy of a Buildmark insurance certificate, please email us at ccsupport@nhbc.co.uk quoting your contact details, the name of your firm, the name of your client and the property address, postcode and policy number.
Buildmark policy document
If you have the Buildmark insurance certificate and just need a copy of the policy booklet, use the policy number (shown on the certificate) to download the applicable booklet here.

If an NHBC registered builder or developer becomes insolvent and an insolvency practitioner is appointed, homes cannot be sold with Buildmark cover without our prior consent.

Problem with your home if you are a shared owner: If your housing association, registered provider or landlord has not resolved the problem you have reported to them, or made a claim to NHBC, you can contact our Claims team directly.
You can find information about making a claim and start a new claim here.
The form will take you through the information required and we will let you know if we are able to help or pass your enquiry to the relevant team.
