A construction NVQ is a benchmark qualification that proves your occupational competence to current and future employers. NVQs also benefit employers by helping them to develop and retain a trained, skilled workforce. Some NVQs lead to membership of professional organisations such as the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE) as well as Gold or Black CSCS cards.
Having previously worked in education, Liam started a new career path as a site labourer while studying for his NVQ in construction site supervision. He received his certificate in June 2022 and is now looking forward to starting his next NVQ in construction site management.
