NHBC launches rotational Business Graduate Programme

The new NHBC Business Graduate programme, which starts in September 2024, is now open for applications here. This rotational graduate programme is a fully-funded two-year training and development programme based at our headquarters in Milton Keynes.
The four rotations
Successful applicants will spend six months in four key business areas to gain a broad understanding of our business.

Claims Operations – working in our First Contact and Handling teams, with access to our wider Claims team and Consumer Affairs department.

Standards, Innovation & Research (SIR) – based in our SIR support team with access to other operational areas like Technical Operations, Inspection, Business Support and Improvement.

Underwriting – working with the team who manage and underwrite our bonds and warranty/insurance products with access to our Actuarial, Capital & Investments and Finance functions too.

Commercial Services – a grounding in our Commercial Services product portfolio and other functions such as Customer Services, Marketing and our Regional Directors.
Future career
After the two-year programme, our graduate trainees will be offered a permanent role in one of six business areas - Business Support and Improvement, Claims, Commercial Services, Data & Analytics, Risk & Compliance and Underwriting. Candidates will be asked to select their preference when they apply and will be supported to undertake relevant professional qualifications in their preferred discipline.
