This NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations covers how to operate health, safety, welfare and information systems, develop and maintain working relationships and prepare programmes and schedules of work.
This qualification is aimed at learners who are working, or want to work, in the construction and built environment sector. It could lead to employment in estimating, buying, surveying and site technical support.
Those who take this NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations must complete six mandatory units, plus a minimum of one optional unit for Pathways 1, 2, and 5, two optional units for Pathway 4, and three optional units for Pathway 7. Optional units will be confirmed at induction according to the chosen pathway.
Most NVQs take 9-12 months to complete, but it is not uncommon for learners to finish earlier. If it takes more than a year, then there may be a charge for each extra month.
This Level 3 NVQ will cost £2,440 +VAT if completed within 12 months

On completion of this NVQ, you could consider taking a higher qualification such as the Level 3 NVQ in Occupational Work Supervision and the Level 4 NVQ in Construction Site Supervision. Your assessor will be delighted to discuss these and any other options with you.
An NVQ Level 3 is equivalent to two A Levels.
