What was your background before joining NHBC?

I joined NHBC after graduating with a BA(Hons) in Business Marketing whilst working part time in retail, where I honed customer service and teamwork skills.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I am the first contact for homeowners. It allows me to proactively address customer needs, ensuring their satisfaction, even if it’s something little. I find fulfilment in enhancing the overall customer journey and enjoy the positive relationships with customers.

What makes NHBC a great place to work?

The ‘stand outs’ for me are the living out of our values, my supportive working environment and the many opportunities to grow. The company’s focus on employee wellbeing also contributes to a positive and fulfilling work experience.

How well supported do you feel?

Genuinely, NHBC gives lots of support. This is through my team and I also have access to management and can seek guidance at any time – my own manager is very accessible. The ongoing training and constructive feedback have been instrumental in my professional growth, creating a positive and supportive foundation for my role.
