I have worked at NHBC for almost 8 years, starting off as a trainee Building Inspector and progressing to Inspection Manager.
Do you feel supported in your career development?
The support has been excellent - from the training department, the team around me and the management team. Nothing is ever too much trouble and everyone is willing to help you develop.
Why have you chosen to work and stay at NHBC?
Because of the great support you receive - NHBC put a lot of effort into your training and I love how challenging yet enjoyable my role is.
You must have seen a lot of changes take place in NHBC. What is the most notable?
I admire how the company is willing to try new ideas to improve services to builders and raise standards for homeowners.
What would you say to someone considering a career at NHBC?
I recommend NHBC to everyone, including my family. The company treat you well and support your career aspirations. My brother has now joined and is looking forward to his own future with NHBC.
