How long have you worked at NHBC?
I joined NHBC in 2020 as a Senior Engineer working on Modern Methods of Construction and now work as a Senior Technical Building Consultant.
Do you feel supported in your career development?
The training I have received throughout my time at NHBC has been excellent and is reinforced by working with skilled colleagues. This has allowed me to develop technically and focus on my future career aspirations.
Why have you chosen to work and stay at NHBC?
The people make working at NHBC enjoyable and are always willing to make time for one another. NHBC allows me to learn new skills and my role offers flexibility in terms of office, home and site-based activities.
What would you say to someone considering a career at NHBC?
NHBC gives you support and training from day one and is a great place to work. There are plenty of opportunities within the organisation to grow and attain new skills.
How do you feel about your current role and NHBC now?
My role is a good balance between site activities and office-based assessments. This gives me a very flexible and varied work load that is both rewarding and challenges me technically.
